Burgess learns she’s pregnant throughout the Nov. 13 episode of ‘Chicago P.D.’ and comes to a decision that can change her and Ruzek’s life perpetually.
A Burzek child is on the way in which! Burgess cuts her arm whereas chasing a suspect throughout the Nov. 13 episode of Chicago P.D. When she goes to the hospital to get stitched up, she learns that she is about four weeks pregnant. This signifies that little hookup between Burgess and Ruzek just a few episodes again is when she obtained pregnant. To say that Burgess is shocked is an understatement. She doesn’t waste any time telling Ruzek when she sees him subsequent.
Like Burgess initially was, Ruzek is shocked by the being pregnant information. He has just a few questions and asks Burgess, “What do you want to do?” She has mentioned wanting children earlier than so he brings up the query once more. “I do want kids. Someday,” she tells him. Ruzek says he’ll be there for her it doesn’t matter what she decides.
Later, Burgess tells Ruzek that she’s made an appointment to get an abortion for the following day. He doesn’t query her about her determination they usually sort out the present case. Once the day is over and the younger boy they had been on the lookout for is discovered, Ruzek finds Burgess within the locker room.
Ruzek tells Burgess that he doesn’t need her to be coping with this on their own. He stresses that he doesn’t need to affect her, he simply needs to know what’s happening. “Maybe it’s selfish of me with this job and being single but I don’t want to miss the opportunity to be a mom and I don’t want to make a decision I might regret,” Burgess says.
When Ruzek asks what she means, Burgess replies, “I don’t know what it means. Other than I canceled the appointment.” Ruzek sits down along with her and says, “We’ll be OK.” Big modifications are forward for these two, that’s for positive. Chicago P.D. season 7 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
