Lone Star’s Brian Michael Smith Talks New Transgender Role – Hollywood Life

“So just knowing the weight of that kind of responsibility is kind of astonishing,” Brian, who performs firefighter Paul Strickland on the present, continued. “[I’m also] simply excited as a result of the present in and of itself may be very, very thrilling. The issues that my character is doing, simply issues that I’ve wished to do since I used to be a child, rising up watching first responder exhibits and motion films and issues like that. And then simply feeling extremely grateful and blessed that we’re at a cut-off date the place there are alternatives for roles like this. And what [series creator] Ryan Murphy has created with exhibits like Pose and Glee, and creating these areas and these worlds on display the place folks simply exist as they’re with their variations. And their variations are both simply built-in into who they’re, or they’re celebrated indirectly, is simply one thing that I discover extremely lucky.”

9-1-1: Lone Star premiered on Jan. 19, and the sequence is a derivative of 9-1-1. This present follows a New York firefighter (Rob Lowe) who, alongside along with his son (Ronen Rubenstein), relocates from Manhattan to Austin, Texas.
